From a pool of thousands of passionate candidates, I’m thrilled to share that I’m one of just 40 selected to participate in the Mongol Derby 2026—the toughest and longest horse race in the world. This incredible journey spans 1000 kilometers, retracing the historic mail route of Genghis Khan across the breathtaking Mongolian Steppe. Along the way, I’ll be welcomed by nomadic families who will provide shelter, meals, and their finest horses. A dedicated team of international veterinarians and medics will ensure that both the riders and horses have the support needed to tackle this ultimate test of endurance. Taking on the Mongol Derby requires a mix of madness, skill, and tenacity, and I couldn’t be more excited about seizing this opportunity.
who am I, and why should you support my journey?
I spend my day to day life retraining and rehoming retired thoroughbred racehorses, I am acknowledged with racing Victoria and South Australia, I spend almost every waking hour on a horse so this event has called my name for many years.
I am a mum to a high energy, horse mad 2yo little girl called Delta, I want her to be able to grow up thinking she too can accomplish something crazy like this if she works hard enough, I just want to be someone she can be proud of.
not only for Delta, I want to be a role model for every up and coming horse mad kid!
For me, this race represents a chance to embrace one of the most significant tests of endurance and horsemanship. As someone who actively seeks to test and enhance my skills the Mongol Derby has long been a dream and a formidable challenge.
yes its dangerous, yes its going to be tough but I am all in!
on this journey they have live tracking and many dedicated media personal so you will be able to come on this journey right there with me!
