Let’s get Fiona’s independence and mobility back

We are a group of Fiona’s friends who are devastated that our lovely, outdoorsy friend is now confined to her house. Fiona was diagnosed with Motor Neurones Disease in November 2022, it was an absolute shock to her and all her family and friends. Now in January 2023 Fiona is still her wonderful, positive self however she has now lost the use of both her legs and right arm, she is confined to a wheelchair and can’t get out of her house. She is becoming a prisoner in her own home. As her friends we are desperate to get her out and about and also complete things on her bucket list. After leaving hospital Fiona has been left with no support at all and the system is moving so slowly to get her help. Time is not a luxury we have. We need to raise money to get Fiona a wheelchair accessible car to get our lovely friend back out into nature whilst we still can. Fiona was never the kind of person to stay at home, she was always out in the countryside or at the beach walking her dogs. Please help us to get this part of her life back.
