Let’s Get Erin to Nepal
Donation protected
Hi my name is Gemma and I am Erin’s mom. Erin is a pupil at Queen Mary’s High School and has been given the opportunity of a lifetime-to go on a trip to Nepal in July 2025 . This is organised by ‘ World Challenge.’
The 10 night challenge will see her tackle the Sarangkot Trek, embrace Buddhist Culture and contribute to a community initiative. Erin and her team will tackle fresh challenges each day to include the Peace Pagoda Trek, white water rafting, a rickshaw ride to ‘ Monkey Temple, spend time in the local community to learn some Nepali and help out with farming jobs.
This once in a lifetime experience will prove to her, just how much she is capable of and change the way she sees herself and the world.
A trip like this doesn’t come cheap and we only have until May 2025 to raise the money. It is £3895 plus spending money. She also has a large list of specialist clothing which she will require. We have estimated a costing of around 5k.
Myself and Steve are going to save as hard as possible to pay for as much as we can, plus do lots fundraising. Erin is trying to raise money too.
Erin really wants to go to medical school in the future but this an incredibly competitive course. Even though she is academically capable, this isn’t enough and needs extra life experiences to make her stand out; we believe this trip is going to do just that.
As a family, we would be incredibly grateful for any donation as every £1 makes a huge difference especially in the current financial climate
If you have got this far, thank you for taking the time to read.
Gemma, Steve and Erin.
