Let's get Emmett back on his feet!

Anyone reading this will likely know me as its being shared to my Facebook. Im not starting one of these lightly as I know things are right for most right now, but I want to give my boy the best chance.

Emmett is my 4 year old mainecoon. He ingested the film off a fruit punnet a little while ago and had to have it surgically removed last Monday. Things were looking good at his post op on Wednesday however on Thursday morning he was badly leaking infection.

He had a stay at the vets into Friday and still was making air biscuits and wanting loves despite being gravely ill. He was fighting.

Things took a turn for the better an his pain meds and antibiotics were working and he had massively perked up as per yesterday's video.

This morning however, when changing his body suit I've spotted a protrusion coming from his wound site, and taken him back to the vets.

Emmett is back in for emergenvy surgery today to fix the protrusion and so the vets can try and clear out any remaining infection.

I'm already past the £5,000 mark on my emergency credit card so I will ask you this...

Buy me a drink. I've drank with tons of you over the years and i'm sure you skipped a few rounds!

If I know you, pop through the cost of a drink. I dont care if its a bottle of water, or a bottle of champagne because at this point every little helps.

Let's help him get better!

**update**

Emmett came through today's surgery. It's still early days and he has a lomg way to go. We have to keep his pain and infection under control. Tonight he is cross with me because he is crafted for his own good, so get he can stay still and rest, and so I can rest too.
