Let's get Emma to Belgium with Team Canada Dance!

Emma has been invited to compete in Belgium this November representing Canada as part of Team Canada Dance!
Unfortunately dance is not recognized as a sport in Canada. So there is no funding for Canadian dance athletes to attend these prestigious competitions. All funding must be provided by themselves. When all is said and done it'll cost over $10K to compete in Belgium this winter.
At first, as parents, we figured this wasn't possible. She understood she'd have to forgo this amazing opportunity. Auditioning for the team and making it was an exciting moment in itself.
But with the encouragement and support of family and friends we've decided we're determined to get her there.
Emma loves to dance. It has been her passion since she was three. She has been excited to grow in her skill and art and is looking forward to continuing her dance journey in University on the Guelph varsity team. She loves to teach and has been lucky enough to spend lots of time with little ones, hoping to inspire the next generation of dancers coming up behind her.
Thank you to all our amazing family and friends who have got us already on our way to getting her to Belgium. We can't wait to watch her through this once in a life time opportunity.
