Let's Get Elaine Home

My name is Karen, myself and our family are raising much needed funds to help bring Elaine home.

Elaine Malone is 49 years of age. She is married to Graham and mam to Niamh, Sean and Daragh.

On 12th January 2023 aged 48 she suffered a massive, life-threatening stroke, This has left Elaine with very limited mobility and speech and requiring 24 hour care.

Elaine has been under the care of The National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire as an inpatient.

Unfortunately Elaine can't return home without extensive building work to make their house wheelchair accessible and build a downstairs bedroom and bathroom.

Elaine has a long road to recovery ahead of her and as her family we are looking at any way we can help towards the costs of modifications to their home.

Huge thanks and appreciation to her sister and brother in law Jillian and Paul Quinn who are caring for Elaine until the house is ready for her to go home. She's been with The Quinns since January 12th when her time in the NRH came to an end
