Call for Community Support!

Call for community support! Our good friend Dee has gone through an especially shit run of luck lately and currently needs some support getting a new vehicle. They lost their partner in the fall and have spent all winter wading through the bureaucracy of accessing disability to help get back on their feet.

After working hard to start a new chapter by buying a new truck this spring, they recently got into a brutal car accident driving back to BC with their dog Bruce, in which their dream truck got totalled and they suffered multiple injuries (Sweet Bruce is miraculously fine). ICBC is covering their medical expenses but not their vehicle so we're coming together to throw down some money to get them a new truck. Having a vehicle again is extremely important for their mental health, their independence and also their housing for the summer. Dee has given a lot to their communities over the years so please give generously if you are able or anything at all. Please share widely so we can help Dee get back on the road!
