Owner and head baker Katie Wright has always had a lifelong love of making a mess. Starting when she was a kid raiding the family kitchen afterhours with her trusty Easy-Bake in tow; to fine dining kitchens in Chicago, coffeeshops back home in Alaska, food trucks, and (almost) everything in between. Katie's love of foraging, supporting local , and being creative is in the foundation of CONCOCTION breads and is shared by her partner Shae and Sous Chefs Aerie and Maxwell.
CONCOCTION breads goal is to provide Bread For All in beautiful southcentral Alaska; serving micro-batch sourdough and gluten-free breads, sweets, and treats.
CONCOCTION has now acquired a brick & mortar location and Is the final stages of OPENING and could use a boost!
We are looking to add a few team members, finish permitting, and get those doors OPEN!
