Hi everyone,

This is Baloo, my 2 year old, beautiful Rottweiler and my service dog. He’s always been full of energy, eager to play with his dog friends, run, and enjoy life along side his friends and family - but for the past several months, he’s been struggling to walk properly. Some days he limps, sometimes he can’t fully put weight on his legs, and it’s heartbreaking to watch him so limited when all he wants to do is run and play like a happy dog should.

I’ve spent thousands of pounds on conservative management, including physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and other treatments, but despite all of this, he hasn’t improved. His CT and X-rays came back clear, but signs point to a tendon injury in his shoulders that needs further investigation.

We now urgently need an MRI and specialist evaluation, and depending on the results, he may require surgery and ongoing treatment so he can walk, run, and play without pain again. As my service dog, Baloo needs to function fully to continue helping me, but more importantly - he just wants to be a dog again, chase his friends, and enjoy life without pain.

Every pet owner’s nightmare is watching their beloved dog suffer and wondering if it will come to the unthinkable. I can’t bear the thought of that happening to my boy, he’s more deserving than anyone to get his happy ending.
