LET’S GET ALDEN BEAN BACK IN THE WOODS

Alden Bean is the most selfless, generous, and hard-working person you’ll ever meet. He is always the first person to lend a hand to help others in need because “that’s what a neighbor does”. He is a true Mainer – preferring to be outdoors, rather than cooped up inside. Whether it’s fishing, hunting, logging, or spending time exploring the woods with his grandkids, Alden was always outside from sun up to sun down.

Unfortunately, a tragic snowmobile accident in 2022 has left him reliant on a wheelchair and unable to do many of the things he loves the most. Living in northern Maine makes that challenge even greater. Whether it’s mud season or wintertime, Alden is limited to where he can go safely in his wheelchair.

An Action Trackchair would allow Alden the freedom to enjoy the outdoors safely. The Trackchair has ATV-style tracks which will conquer any terrain and provide Alden independence again. This incredible Trackchair also has the ability to move the user from a sitting position to a standing position. This chair would allow Alden to be able to venture beyond his own yard and back out to the woods where he hasn’t been able to go in over 2 years.

As you can imagine, the cost for this chair is high. We know everyone is trying to stretch their money right now, but any donation at all would be greatly appreciated. This chair will be life changing for Alden and his family.
