On Oct 22nd, 2017 Vince Babudro went to California for a two week vacation to stay with his family, help out and possibly look at some schools, on Oct 26th at 10:30 pm he told his aunt he was going for a drive to the Ocean and then to the Mountians, He has not been heard from since.
His cell phone is off and he has had no contact with anyone since that Thursday. His last phone ping was in La Tuna Canyon California late at night.
They have had Search and Rescue teams along with helicopters searching for him and have completed around 450 sq miles at this point.
His Aunt has walked countless miles in the canyons with no luck as well. His mom and dad flew there last night (10/29) to continue searching with Search and Rescue teams. Media has been notified as well as a police report has been filed. Vince has been listed as a missing person in the State of California at this time.
We're trying to help his Mom and Dad cover some expenses that are beginning to stack up with them being out of work and their primary focus on finding their son.
Everyone that knows Vince, knows that he is a great guy and we're all shook up. We're hoping that he is found quickly and safe.
The sooner we're able to get funds to his Mom, Dad and family; the sooner they are able to pay for operations of the search and other related expenses.
Vince is a great person and friend as well as a very hard worker at Heartland Automotive (Jiffy Lube) as an AGM in Blaine, MN. He goes above and beyond for his friends, family and for his company.
