Luis Briones, owner of Pacific Fresh Grill, announced today his plan to give back to the community during these difficult times. He has committed to immediately establishing a free “grab-and-go” meal service for the elderly, those whose employment has been impacted, and other underserved groups in the community severely impacted by COVID-19 and the repercussions of this health crisis. The free meals will be funded by donations and provided by temporarily laid off chefs and food service professionals throughout the San Diego region.

As part of Pacific Fresh Grill’s commitment to feed the less fortunate, the restaurant has announced they starting today they will offer their three-week supply of food and offer meals to those in need. He plans to have a drive through “grab-and-go” style meal pick-up service in the parking lot to minimize interactions with the public and to help contain the spread of the virus.
“In Mexico City after the earthquake, it was amazing to see the community come together to help pull people from the rubble and feed and shelter people when they had no one else to turn to. At such a paralyzing time, I want to pull the community together and help any way I can”

Pacific Fresh Grill plans to get the word out starting today and greatly appreciates monetary donations to help fund this much this meal service for those in need. No one should have to choose between paying their rent or eating.
