I am Muhammad Zeshan, MD. I currently serve as the President Pakistani American Psychiatrist Association of North America (PAPANA). I am passionate about Khawaja Sira mental health and the empowerment of this vulnerable community in developing countries like Pakistan. I heard so many painful stories of how our Khawaja Sira Youth are being rejected by their own families and they have been living in very challenging life circumstances. When our Khawaja Sira people get older, they have not been receiving the proper medical, psychological, and emotional help and support that they deserve. This pilot program is the beginning of a new Pakistan that is more inclusive, understanding, and accepting of our minorities.
