It is with a heavy heart that I share this GoFundMe on behalf of my nephew, Kable Moore, who was involved in a tragic accident on Friday, September 18, 2026.

Kable is a nationally ranked trampoline athlete and was training for an upcoming competition. He has dedicated countless hours to this sport, constantly pushing himself to learn new skills and improve.

Here is one of Kable’s most recent trampoline routines:

Tragically, during training on Friday, Kable suffered a devastating fall, landing on his neck and sustaining a C3-C4 dislocation with severe spinal cord compression. He underwent emergency surgery, and although the spinal cord has been successfully decompressed, he has not yet regained meaningful movement below his neck.

His prognosis remains unclear. His doctors have made clear that his recovery will be a long and uncertain road. But anyone who knows Kable knows one thing: he is a fighter. And if anyone is going to give everything he has to make the strongest recovery possible, it is this kid.

And we are already seeing small signs of progress.

This video shows one of Kable’s recent attempts to move his arm on command:

It may look like a small movement, but to us, it means everything. Every movement, every response, every bit of progress gives us another reason to keep fighting alongside him.

Kable is, without hesitation, one of the kindest, most generous, and beautiful souls I have ever known. You simply could not find a nicer person.

His compassion for other people—especially younger kids—has always been extraordinary. When he wasn’t training for trampoline, he worked at the gym helping train young gymnasts. He was also a dive coach. He has always had an enormous heart and a way of making the people around him feel cared for and encouraged.

Recently, while on vacation in Canada, we stopped at a trampoline park. Soon after we arrived, a swarm of young teenage boys approached him as if he were a celebrity. It turned out they had found his Instagram account and were asking him, “Is this you?” Evidently, he was known even in a small town in Eastern Canada.

He confirmed that it was him, but rather than politely saying his goodbyes, he spent the next 45 minutes answering their questions, giving them advice, and helping them perfect their techniques on the trampoline—all while providing a guiding hand to ensure their safety. Watching them from afar, you would have thought these were his beloved students, close friends, or family members. But they were strangers. People he would likely never see again.

Instead of brushing them off, he became an instant coach, an instant mentor, and an instant cheerleader for them. It was incredible to behold.

He makes everyone feel comfortable and loved. He is pure joy. You can see his playful spirit in the photo of him with my son last summer.

This GoFundMe is being created to help Kable and his family navigate what lies ahead—to help with the enormous costs of rehabilitation and ongoing care, travel and other expenses, and to provide his family with the support they need while they focus on Kable and his recovery. Estimates for rehabilitation services for this year alone could be upwards of $300,000 -400,000

Right now, there are so many unknowns. We don’t know how much movement Kable will regain or what his recovery will ultimately look like. We do know that the road ahead will be long, and that he will need tremendous support along the way.

But we also know Kable.

For as long as I can remember, if you asked him to do something—whether it was something as ordinary as running an errand or something exciting like going on an adventure—his answer was almost always the same:

“Let’s do it.”

So this is our “Let’s do it” for Kable.

Let’s help him take on this next challenge with the same determination, courage, and heart that he has brought to everything else in his life.

Please help us spread the word. If you’re able to donate, every dollar makes a difference—and if you can’t, sharing this page is just as meaningful. Every donation, every share, and every bit of support brings us one step closer.

Let’s do it. For Kable.
