Lets do a little trade

Hi my name is Andrea and I am fundraising to keep myself and my children in my home. I got laid off in June 2023 and despite my best efforts, I ran out of unemployment. I began driving for Uber but I am too far behind and am going to get evicted. My landlord was understanding but as of today he wants 7362 for 4 months rent and water, plus my other bills are behind including 1000 for the gas.

The other reason I am asking is because in the course of the last 8 years I have been on twitter and other social media sites, I have noticed an alarming trend. It genuinely seems to be the case that veteran suicide rates are stuck because male veterans are trapped in domestic abuse situations. Without any resources for escape. I would like to do a study to determine the rates of male veteran abuse. In order to do that I need the time to run a legitimate study, so I can use the information to build a domestic abuse shelter for them. Veterans will require a different set up to feel safe than other groups may, and I want the time to do the research to do it right.

It will take a year to do the study properly, then another year to convince the state and federal governments it matters. I can easily fund raise the money for step 2, but I don't have the time. I am getting eviction papers in 5 days. I don't want to keep shelving this project, just to work at Kroger 60 hours a week and still be on food stamps.

I think many of you would say I am a perfect person for this job. I can connect with anyone, be compassionate with anyone, and most importantly, many of you yourselves have responded to this. You KNOW I can do this. Help me help them.

I need help, it is true. But I also want to help others, desperately. Help me build this system, and not lose my house in the process. I will lose my kids if I lose my house. I can't help anyone if I don't have my kids. I can't help myself, let alone anyone else.
