Let’s conquer cancer with Keira!

It brings great pain to share the news that my daughter Keira Morris (11) has been diagnosed with cancer.

Keira had a small lump appear on the side of her face which quickly grew. After multiple doctor appointments & referrals to a specialist Keira needed to go for a biopsy which confirmed our greatest fears. The cancer is a Sarcoma which has attached itself to a saliva gland.

Keira is now subject to Chemotherapy treatment for a period of up to 12 months at Perth Children’s Hospital. PCH is the only facility in WA that con provide the treatment that Keira needs and due to the frequency & risks of her treatment she needs to relocate to Perth for the next 12 months whilst she undergoes treatment.

Keira also has her two brothers Ashton (10) & Cody (4) who will miss her dearly over the coming 12 months. Weekends will be spent bringing her brothers up to see her to maintain that crucial relationship.

With my daughter diagnosed with cancer I have ceased my occupation as a fifo worker to be here with my family. My sons will be living with myself whilst Keira is undergoing treatment. I have sold my vehicle to assist in the financial support needed over the next 12 months.

All donations are much appreciated in these uncertain times. I apologise to those that have found this information via digital media prior to direct contact by myself. I have found it extremely difficult to communicate this information. No child should ever go through this.

I have told Keira that once we beat this thing we are celebrating, I will take her anywhere in the world - She needs light at the end of the tunnel.
