In February of 2020 my brother was hospitalized for some very life changing medical conditions including a rare form of Leukaemia which has caused multiple strokes leaving him disabled. Unfortunately Ryan is also severely effected by another condition called Encephalitis which has caused more mobility issues, this condition combined with the effects from his strokes has greatly affected his quality of life and he is very determined to get as much physiotherapy and also help from the brain clinic to improve his overall health and quality of life as much as possible. He is unable to live without full time assistance and his funding and assessment for gaining assisted living was not approved. He is appealing this decision. His current living situation has become unstable and he is in need of moving as soon as possible. He needs to find himself an apartment and our mother is going to step in as his full time caregiver for now. He is hoping to move from the Gibbons area into Edmonton so he can be closer to the resources he requires. We are in need of financial assistance to help cover moving costs, furniture, medication etc.
