Nathaniel J Kilpartrick, also known to some as Louie, is fighting a battle that no one should have to! He is 36 yrs young and battling life altering medical issues. Louie has faced dialysis, multiple staph infections, mersa, nine surgeries on his knee for infection, been hospitalized for several months at a time for these medical issues and most recently due to not being able to fight the battle with the infection in his knee they had to amputate that leg. Valerie Kilpatrick is his mom, and being the great mom she is she is staying by his side during it all. In between hospital stays Val has made certain to get him to any appointments that he may have had to go. As we all know making those trips down state to doctors or specialists, and staying by his side during hospital stays when Louie needed the comfort and support the most isn’t easy on anyone’s wallets. The medical bills are continuing to add up, as well as the amount that it costs to make the trips back and fourth to the hospitals in gas, and the costs of the meals for Val to stay are nearing the $300/week. Any donations will also go to helping make their home handicapped accessible for when he gets to come back home with them (wider door ways, bed that is more handicapped friendly, ramps for the house ect) This is going to be a big change for all the family, but more important it’s going to be a huge change for Louie.
