Let's Circle Around Daniel Bass and His Family!

Daniel Bass is the husband of Leslie and the father of Cayton and Davin. He is also the son of my dear friend, Alyson Bass, and big brother to his sister, Catherine, who is playing nurse in the attached photo.

Over the past year, Daniel has been in and out of Vanderbilt University Hospital suffering from Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). He has spent a total of 3 months in the Critical Care Tower, several times experiencing near-fatal incidents. Chemo treatments have not worked thus far. He is waiting for a Bone Marrow Transplant, which has become a long process due to repeated infections. If his body doesn't heal enough for Daniel to respond positively to the Bone Marrow Transplant, he may be moved to a higher level of care, possibly MD Anderson in Houston. Lots of unknowns.

At this point, I am asking anyone who receives this request, whether you know Daniel or not, to give toward his medical bills. I can't even imagine how much they will be, but I am positive they will be substantial. I also think this is a tangible way to let Leslie, Cayton, and Davin know they are not alone in this either.

I've never done anything like this before, so please forgive my lack of finesse and information. I'll add more as I hear from his family via Alyson. All I know is that I love her, I loved her husband, Dennis, who is no longer with us, and I love her kids. The Bass family means a lot to me, so please, please help me help them.
