Let’s chip in to help Damon keep up his strength

My name is Teela and I am a student of Damon. I first stumbled upon his amazing gym, Komplete Strength, in 2019 right after it appeared on Classpass— and after the first time I went, I knew I would be back. Damon’s knowledge and warmth drew me in immediately, as did the close knit vibe he cultivated with all his students. He treated us like friends, he shared his pearls of wisdom with us, and he taught us how to push ourselves while honouring our bodies’ needs. And he did it all rocking SoCal loungewear and slides!

I’m sure you all are as upset as I am to learn about his recently diagnosed glioblastoma. I’ve always known that life isn’t fair, and this is just another example of how unfair it can be.

As part of the Komplete Strength community, I hope we can raise some funds to allow Damon peace of mind during this difficult time— however that manifests for him, whether it’s rent for the studio, private medical treatments, a trip back home to SoCal— whatever he needs to fortify himself for this situation.
