Let’s Buy Wade a Scooter

Update:
Wade got a scooter! I updated the target amount to reimburse Wade for the total cost of the scooter to include title, etc. Yay!
Wade Saathoff was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal pancreatic cancer. His friends already started a GFM for medical bills, and that’s great. But if he has only a year left to live, and most of that year spent in misery, pain, and the grief of knowing that he’s dying, I think he should get something that brings joy. He won’t buy himself a scooter even though he’s always wanted one because he wants to make sure that the money he receives goes toward his end of life care.
Look here, is what I say. You get one life, and if it’s going to be cut in half, you should let your friends buy you a scooter if that’s what you want.
