Let’s Build a Home for the Guardians of the Forest
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Anderson Carlosama, and I’m raising funds to support the Gallo Rumi Association, an Indigenous Kichwa Karanki community in Ecuador that protects and conserves over 1,500 hectares of páramo and native forests.
Since 1999, the association has tirelessly worked to preserve these vital ecosystems, which provide water to neighboring communities and sustain Ecuador’s biodiversity. However, they lack proper infrastructure to continue their essential work.
Why do they need our help?
The association needs a community house to serve as an operational, educational, and cultural hub where they can:
Meet to plan conservation activities.
Receive training on sustainable forest management.
Promote ecotourism and share their ancestral culture.
How will the funds be used?
Every donation will contribute to:
1. Constructing basic infrastructure.
2. Installing an eco-friendly energy and potable water system.
3. Purchasing sustainable materials to respect the natural environment.
Why is this important?
By donating, you’re helping preserve vital ecosystems, supporting an Indigenous community dedicated to environmental protection, and fostering sustainability in the Ecuadorian Andes.
Together, we can build a better future for them and for the planet. Thank you for your support!
