Hi! My name is Maria and at the end of May 2025 I rescued a young feral mom named Valencia and her 5 orange newborn kittens. We went viral on tiktok and since then have built an incredible community of followers. Because of this, my dreams of running a rescue is closer than ever, and Valencia still has a bunch of cats in her colony that need help, including several that are actively pregnant. On top of managing this colony, I have been asked to help with 2 additional local colonies of cats. My little enclosure space in my craft room simply isn't big enough to provide help at the volume that is necessary to reduce these cat populations in humane ways (rehabilitation or trap-neuter-return [TNR]). On my property, I have a good size, sturdy building. It is in decent shape as is, but I would love to be able to get electricity run to it as well as do some insulation and minor repairs. Possibly even looking to have water run to the building should this project really take off. My long term goal is far bigger than this one building, but I feel like this is a great start to help save kitty lives.
