Jansen Smith’s Road To Recovery

Knowing the heavy cost of medical expenses, lost wages, getting Jansen in a hospital closer to home, then eventually settled at home in his own bed, our people were asking what they could do to help. All funds will be used by him and his mom to support this bumpy journey.

Jansen, could use some tender loving thoughts, & prayers, He is currently admitted in Las Vegas with a long road to recovery ahead after a rare complication from an Upper Respiratory Infection. He was visiting a friend and subsequently developed some very acute and strange symptoms that worsened over 24 hours prompting admission before he could fly home. Tonya made it out to his bedside after a rough journey herself. A deer decided to total her car on the way to the airport and thankfully she was able to still make her way there.

Working on additional surgeries/procedures and a transfer plan to get him closer to home as I type this. He is on three very strong IV antibiotics and has Osteomyelitis (severe bone infection and breakdown) in his left collar bone as well as left orbit (eye area)/sinus bone issues and abscesses with a Pott’s Puffy Tumor. He’s got some infection in his foot as well. Yep, all from rare complications from a sinus infection causing sepsis. Seeing some improvement finally. Lots of discomfort, lots of unknowns, long road ahead. So thankful for those looking out for him in Vegas as well. Go Big or Go Home I guess right. We just want him home and healing. Will post updates as we know more for our favorite guy ❤️‍
