Let's Help Janelle "Come Home"!

This Fundraiser Is Being Held on behalf of JANELLE HUNT who also goes by JANE NELLIE. Thank you in advance for your kind consideration of this very special young woman.......

On July 12th, 2021 storm clouds gathered over Bucks County and delivered torrential rain during a short period of approximately 3 to 4 hours. Croydon, Pennsylvania was seemingly the hardest hit taking on 10.28 inches. It was too much for the nearby creeks and Janelle's house took a direct hit. Water damage -- and subsequently mold, quickly turned everything inside into a total loss!

Janelle has worked so hard during these past six months in an effort to keep her life moving forward while living through the frustration and the ups and downs of being homeless. She has also given up some of the things that make her the happiest while finding temporary housing not only for herself and her two cats -- but her two beloved dogs who are currently being sheltered apart from her. She continued working and attending college classes while living in a noisy, chaotic and at times unsettling environment. She's asked for little to no help throughout this entire process. But now as she begins to gather hope and look forward to actually "coming home" the final hurdle of dealing with out of pocket costs is substantial.....especially with inflation at its highest level in decades! While Janelle did have flood insurance it would only cover the costs of rebuilding her home structurally. No other coverage is offered for anything else needed in order to truly "live" in one's home, nor is it covered by her flood insurance.

Yet FINALLY -- after six months of being displaced, Janelle's hope of "coming home" is turning into reality! An extremely kind contractor has decided to work with her to rehab her house and get her home within the next two to four weeks! She is overjoyed at the thought of "being home" again and having all of her pets under one roof with her while "reclaiming her life" and moving forward into what will hopefully be a far better New Year in 2022!

The only pieces left in making this a reality are the replacement of those things that flood insurance will not cover: applicances (oven/stove, refrigerator, washer/dryer......and with her active lifestyle - a dishwasher would be nice!), furniture - up to and including a new mattress, a shed, household items fixtures and furnishings, small appliances and more must all be purchased and/or installed. None of these items are covered by the flood insurance. Additionally.....Janelle needs to pay down some of the debt she's incurred while living in temporary housing over the past six months.

Any contribution to this GoFundMe will go directly to Janelle so that she can "Come Home" and move forward with reclaiming her life while continuing to achieve the many goals she has set for herself. She is far to humble to ask for this help for herself.....but I know for certain she will appreciate each and every person who donates to and shares this fundraiser, or who reaches out personally in order to help her "Come Home"!
