Hi everyone. My name is Cyrill Malabed-Roca. My uncle, Dennis Malabed, suddenly and tragically passed away on May 2, 2024 in San Jose, Costa Rica, a country that has taken him in as its own. My Tito was one of a kind. If you were to ask anyone in my family to describe him in one word, I’m completely certain everyone will agree with me when I mention the word “selfless”. His devotion to his family was unshakeable. His loyalty to all of his friends was unrivaled. His work ethic, as many of his coworkers turned family know, was the standard he set amongst his peers and colleagues. To know my uncle is to love him.

All my uncle ever did his whole life, while also seeing and traveling the world in his own eyes, was to help anyone who needs help. Whether you’re family to him or friends, he was just that guy that would literally take his shirt off his back to give it to someone else in need. And now, it’s time for us to give back to him. We are asking for any amount possible to help our family bring his remains home so that we can give him a proper send off in the Philippines. You see, his parents passed away in the 90s and with 11 siblings, he’s the first one out of all my aunts and uncles to be reunited with our departed grandparents. No amount is too little and from the bottom of our hearts, we thank each and everyone who has reached out to us during this extremely difficult time. Help us bring Tito Dennis home
