Let's get Christopher cancer free! We all we got!

On December 28, 2023, Christopher was taken to the Doctors by his Nana, Maryann Bartley to see what was going on with him as he hadn't been feeling good and was weak. The doctors office said Chris was anemic and was told to go to the Emergency Room at Onslow Memorial. Chris endured a fall from the shower and hit his eyes on the door hinge. He was throwing at the doctors office and doctors wanted to do a CT scan to rule out any concussion. After reviewing blood tests, it showed that Chris white blood cell count was at 409 which in normal range it is 12. Doctors quickly reached out the other hospitals on where to send him as they believed he had Leukemia. Duke accepted Chris and he was air flighted around 10 PM. Chris' Nana and Papa, Maryann and Filipo Bartley are the guardians of Chris and will be taken care of Chris during this time. Chris' Papa just was released out of New Hanover hospital on December 24, 2023 from nearly death experience from heart failure. Currently, his heart is only work at 26% so Maryann is no longer able to work during this time to be able to be there for Christopher. Currently, we are hoping to get into Ronald McDonald house, but until then we are incurring travel fees and along with hotel stays. We are concerned of the burden this will put on everyone and are hoping to be able to help with this during this difficult time. All the prayers so far have worked miracles. Chris' white blood cells have came down to 48 in matter of days. He is now being moved up to the 4th floor where he will spend at least a month if not two to make sure all his healthy cells are back.
