It’s always a bit difficult to make this kind of post. I’m currently in Sri Lanka, and there are many stray dogs. However, I came across two puppies that are very malnourished. The female puppy has a broken leg and also has lacerations on her skin. I went to an animal rescue place, but they didn’t accept them, which I understand. Tourists often want to help, but their resources are limited.

Basically, the female puppy needs surgery and treatment for her skin; she will need to stay at the veterinary clinic for a month, and we would also be looking for a family for her. Both dogs would be receiving treatment. This has a cost of 150,000 Sri Lankan rupees, which is about $470. I can pay part of it, but I’m finishing my trip, so I don’t have enough money to cover everything.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Today I already paid 11,000 so they can stay for two nights and receive their vaccinations.
