Life can change in an instant. For the Hendricks family, that moment came when Claire was unexpectedly hospitalized. Anyone who has been around Randa and Claire, know how full of life they both are. They bring the fun wherever they go!

After days of tests her diagnosis came back as Aplastic Anemia. To treat her condition, she will need a bone marrow transplant. Claire loves her life in Boston, but will come home to Seattle for her treatment. She will receive her care at Fred Hutch and will be in the hospital for 30 days.

This unimaginable situation has placed an enormous emotional and financial strain on the family.
