Let’s all Join Paws for Brian
Many of you may know my dad Brian and
some of you may not. My dad is the strongest man I know. Growing up, my dad always
showed my brother and I that anything was possible. He climbed mountains ( became a
46’er before His 46th birthday), learned to
snowboard (refusing to use the bunny hill),
was president of PEF Union at Upstate Hospital. He worked along side Assemblymen
Michael Bragman, lead training groups for
Vocera and Epic. He was also president of
SOTC ( Syracuse Obedience Training club)!
He loved his family and his dogs. The list goes on and on!
In November 2017 My dad was diagnosed
with a Glioblastoma ( Grade 4 Brain Tumor),
he underwent surgery to remove the cancer.
In April 2018 he under went surgery to
remove regrowth. After radiation and Chemo, he enter remission! In November 2019 after a growth appeared on his back and after month of being in pain, we received the horrible diagnosis of Spindle Cell Sarcoma. After a PET
scan we were informed that the cancer was
metastatic. After a round of chemo and
radiation things looks optimistic. Round two of chemo approached and he went in strong. After a repeat MRI, it showed that the lesionsin his brain has multiplied. The doctors gave
us the sad news that their was nothing more
they could do to treat the cancer.
As we help comfort my Dad in his final days, we brought him home with the help of
Hospice. Surrounded by his family, friends
and his Beloved pup blush, we aim to help
him feel comfort and love.
My mom has not left his side. I am looking to
raise money to help cover medical expenses, daily expenses and house hold bills that are
accumulating.
Any help at all is greatly appreciated. No
donation is to small! I am ever so grateful for the love and support in this time of need.
