My beautiful, dear friend Jo’s world was recently turned upside when seemingly out of the blue, her legs stopped working one day. Many hospital trips and scans later she was diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis), which has severely affected both her brain and spinal cord.
Some days are good, and some days are very bad -affecting her ability to walk, or even use her hands, and painful. It is heartbreaking to watch someone so close to you experience this whilst trying to be so incredibly brave for her family at the same time.
Throughout the years I have known Jo, she has been the most giving, generous, kind and beautiful soul, always helping others in need, and so now I would like to return the favour.
She would never ask for help this way in a million years, and honestly wouldn’t want me to do this if she knew about it.
But everybody needs help sometimes and that’s OK.
So when you read this Jo, please know that people always have a choice.
They WANT to help you because they love you. I love you. And I want to help you.
Please allow those who love you, near or far to help in any way they can.
The money could be used towards making the house more disability friendly, getting ready made meals delivered, Uber drivers, help taking care of the kids, medical/healing, camping trips between chemo appts, absolutely anything whatsoever that may make your life just a little easier.❤️
I’m honoured and so grateful to have Jo in my life and hope she may still experience the greatest life full of love and joy despite this diagnosis, and that any future treatment may either halt the progression or lessen the severity of this life changing disease.
Please consider any donation, every little bit helps!
Thankyou to those who do, any amount (big or small) is so appreciated and will go to the most beautiful and deserving human being.
Sincerely, Jo’s friend -Amy
