Let's All Help Cary

Hello, my name is Donette and I am asking you to help our friend Cary. This story starts with him having COVID at the end of March, 2021. As Cary was being treated for COVID, the doctors discovered that he had diabetes and it was pretty advanced. The diabetes led to blood clots in his right foot. He was in the hospital for three weeks and after the doctors did everything they could to save his foot, he had to have his leg amputated below the knee.

Cary is recovering in New York and he is having physical therapy daily. He will learn how to walk again and have a prosthetic leg this summer. The road ahead will be difficult but he has a lot of spirit and will overcome this!
