Let's all help Ann in her battle against Cancer!

Many of you will know Wilbert but may not have had the honor of meeting his precious wife, Ann.
So please allow me introduce you to Ann Knight!

I have had the privilege of knowing them for over 20 years. Wilbert has worked with me on hundreds of projects and Ann helped me manage the care of my Aunt Ti so that we were able to keep her at home after a stroke left her unable to care for herself.
Ann has struggled with Anemia for quite some time and was diagnosed with cancer on July 21st, 2020...Stage IV T-Cell Lymphoma
She has had treatment and procedures at Moffitt Cancer Center and here under the care of Dr. Tarek Eldawy.

ANN RINGING THE BELL AS SHE COMPLETED HER LAST CHEMO INFUSION
Ann initially responded very well to chemotherapy and was scheduled for a bone marrow transplant in January but her aggressive cancer had metastasized to her lungs and lymph nodes so she was not a candidate for the transplant.
Since then her cancer has spread throughout her body.
Dr. Eldawy believes Ann will benefit from participating in a Clinical Trial at MD Anderson. She and Wilbert will travel to Houston on the 20th of this month to explore her candidacy for the trial.
We are continuing to believe for a miracle but Ann's prognosis is not good. Her unique and aggressive cancer typically has a 3 to 5 year life span. Please pray with us that she is accepted and that the trial is successful.
Ann is an elementary school dietician and has been unable to work because of her illness. Therefore she has lost her Insurance benefits.
She and Wilbert have been paying for her health insurance, about thirty percent of medical expenses and treatments not covered by insurance, rental cars, accommodations, and many ancillary expenses out of pocket.
Ann's reduction in income and their increase in medical expenses has depleted their savings and put the Ann, Wilbert, their children, and grandchildren in terrific financial distress.

ANN AND WILBERT ARE PROUD PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS
Those of you that know me know it is not in my character to ask for help even when I know I need it. However, this is for Ann and Wilbert so I am asking you to contribute financially and bless this dear family!
In addition, we covet your prayers that Ann is accepted and responds well to the trial and continues to feel well enough to travel while seeking a cure.
So, please pray for continued stamina for Ann and make a contribution if you are able.
Any amount, large or small, will help.
Donations by check. Cashapp, Venmo, or Zelle are preferred as 100% of that contribution goes directly to Ann without incurring any fees.
You may mail your check to: D. Brandon Cobb
