Leti calling art patrons for a creative project

In this project, which started with a sweet story of serendipity, we aim at calling women and non-binary people living in peripheral corporalities/emotional spaces to share with us their fantasies/ desires/ utopias. This is the call for community contributions to give you a flavour of how the project may look like:

"I realised I was going to use faux naif's name after hyper-focusing on her mesmerising energy for the entire duration of the set at a fetish party. When she found out about me using her name for my dominatrix alter-ego through the exhibition decrimfutures she reached out and we started to explore ways of collaborating. To expand this energy, we are calling women and non-binary people who live in peripheral emotional spaces to share with us their lushest fantasies/desires/utopias. We will honour the community’s energy by turning your contributions into a piece of video art and sound landscape. The piece will embed some of the community’s contributions and the sound art will elevate the surreal scene".

A budget of £3000 would cover the costs for videographer, sound artist, equipment rental and venue:

Videographer - I will be collaborating again with Yarli (we are pure magic together and she is one of the contemporary artists I admire the most). https://yarliallison.com/

I create art because it is essential to my life force. It's my form of expression and communication, connecting people in complex and beautiful ways. However, with the increasing cost of living and the lack of funding for artists everywhere, creating art is more challenging than ever. Your support means the world to me and will allow me to not only make this project a reality but to compensate the full-time artists I collaborate with in the way they deserve.
