Hello, my name is Lethia, and I am currently a senior transfer student pursuing a degree in Business Administration and Leadership at The University of La Verne. My journey has been filled with adversity that I have persevered through. Over the past few years, I have dealt with the loss of a parent, financial hardships, and the pressure of single parenthood. Through all of this, I have managed to keep up a 3.5 GPA and work full-time around 45 hours.

Unfortunately, I suffered a major injury at work, which resulted in time off for healing, PT, and ultimate recovery. Sadly, the industry I was in, I am no longer able to do the work and have started over. I am currently working in my new field, with a base pay which is minimum wage. My family has done everything they could to help me and my child. Unfortunately, I am at capacity for student loans and left with only the Pell Grant, which isn't enough.

I had to take off 1 year of schooling to recover and try to earn the funds myself through working/side hustling. That's a challenge in itself. I have 1 year left in my degree, and I truly need the help. Every donation will go to helping with my tuition, graduation fees, books/school-related items.
