My name is Letha Brown. Some of you may know me as your friendly barber, friend, or acquaintance.

On Sunday, October 12th, I was attending Austin City Limits music festival and tripped over unmarked chords covered in dirt, resulting in a pretty severe fracture that is requiring surgery. I am self-employed and unfortunately, that means I do not have insurance nor do I get paid time off or unemployment.

I am financially exhausted as earlier this year I had to move, which resulted in my cat getting injured and eventually passing, and in July, my father also passed. Those two major events have depleted the savings that I would regularly have. I would not be doing this if I wasn't absolutely exhausted financially, physically, and emotionally. I truly appreciate any sort of donation that you could give or the sharing of this post as this surgery is very expensive and I will be out of work for a few months.
