Let’s help Roni on his road to recovery!

Hi there, my name is Erika, and one of my closest friends has been through the wringer this year. Between family, personal, and pup health, it’s been a tough time.

At midnight on June 24th, Roni went to the ER to be seen for some discomfort he was showing. He was sent back home and told it was most likely gastric reflux but later in the evening he began to pant uncontrollably and have trouble breathing. He was taken to the ER vet again a few hours later and stayed to be monitored. Hours later Roni’s mom received a call that he had turned purple and was really struggling to breathe. He was intubated and remains in critical condition. Things were looking bleak as the local ICU remained full but miraculously a spot opened up for Roni and a critical care team came to transport him while still intubated to the ICU at Dove Lewis to have some life saving surgeries. The estimated costs of this hospital stay are between $15-20k. Every dollar helps. Roni means a lot to so many and we want to keep him around as long as possible.
