We started this journey with Shyann about 2 years ago, when she was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma. We battled with her, stood by her, and watched her courageously fight. After a year of chemo treatments, we thought it was done. We hugged, we cried, and we continued living our life. A week ago we sadly got the news again, Shyann has a recurrence. Though it brought us all down, made us cry, and had us questioning so much, we know its a fight that Shyann is ready to take on. She is young, strong, and full of positivity. If anyone can take on this battle it's Shyann.
Shyann will start chemotherapy tomorrow, at this time we are waiting to find our exact length of treatment. As we know when a family has a sick child it brings hardships. One parent must stay in the hospital while the other takes care of the other children, there is a lot of traveling to and from hospitals for treatments and appointments, all while trying to work a full-time job to provide for a family of six. Shyann is going to be starting her senior year of high school and will need to transfer from a public school to a private online school, and as we all know private school is not cheap.
It is difficult to ask for help, but the year ahead will have many trials. Here is an idea of some things they may have immediate needs for:
* gift cards for food
* gas or gas cards
* housekeeping
* gardeners
We have set up another way to help! You can purchase a shirt or face mask to support Shyann. Proceeds will go straight to Shyann and her family. Here is the link to purchase a shirt:

Shyann is experiencing the fight for her life and anything that helps her family will help keep her focused on getting better and getting through this battle. As we know more in the coming weeks, we will keep everyone updated on how Shyann is doing. You can follow her on Instagram @shyannfloress!
