Let's support Carolynne Zaseybida

HI - my name is Geoffery Dowhaniuk and I am Carolynne Zaseybida's nephew.   Sometimes things happen in life and life is just never the same again. It changes you forever and that life altering date was January 25, 2018 for my Aunty Carol – aka Carolynne, Mom, Coney, Nana, a friend to so many.  She has faced the hand she has been dealt with her usual positive attitude and unwavering hopefulness. In mid March Aunty was given the news that nobody every wants to receive – that she is palliative. With multiple bowel obstructions she is no longer able to eat and absorb any nutrients and due to COVID, her family has been taking care of her at home.  Aunty decided to do what she could to sustain quality and comfort in her life through vitamins, nutrients and amino acid IV infusions. This is costly and the family travels each morning from her home in Summerland to Kelowna to pick up a fresh IV pack.   The IV packs, which she loving refers to as her ‘little gold packs’ are not covered by the Medical Programs, this is now presenting additional burdens.

I have spoken with my Aunty Carol and she has given me and us the chance to assist her financially — as she said, ‘I would sooner have my little gold packs every morning now,  than flowers when I am gone’
