helping out!

Hey, Family & Friends!

Someone whom I love dearly has been entered in a battle suddenly, and I'm hoping we can all band together to try and make him feel all the support, love and compassion I know he will need now more than ever- Andrew Giese was diagnosed with Lhymphoma last Thursday, and tonight was the first step towards healing as he underwent surgery on his neck so that we may have a better idea as to how we're going to combat this feat.

If you know Andrew, you know that he is one of the most positive, alluring, compassionate and selfless individuals to ever walk this earth. He has been my knight in shining armor since the day I fell in love with him, back in Geography class, the first day of high school nearly 12 years ago. I have fallen  in love with this impeccable soul more times than any person could fathom, and I consider myself blessed to have been born incomplete into this world, only waiting until the mere age of 13 to find and secure my other half.  Though I could write an abundance about how immaculate my love is for Andrew, that is not why I am here today.

With the medical bills we will face, the income we'll inevitably lose due to his absence from work, there is little room for us to stress at this moment. I am essentially here to ask if anyone is capable of sparing anything to not only help us during this time that funds will ultimately be tight, but also for something very specific- assisting ME in purchasing him a copy of his favorite music production software (Ableton), so that during this time, he has all the tools at his disposal to help him express himself through creativity with music. One of Andrew's many incredible qualities is his ability to create music, and with the emotional experiences he will now face and the time spent healing and away from work, I hope that we can at least get him the access to the software so that he has free reign to heal through production of music. The program is $500 to download!

Andrew has always put himself last when others were in need, and continues to impress me daily, even during this time of havoc and fear. He even does so for his job- taking care of children with disabilities as a Special education Assistant at Field school here in Minneapolis. All of the children adore him, and the love and patience he exhibits with them cannot be paralleled.  I know for a fact that he is more than capable of enduring this situation with more than triumph, and I'll be here every step of the way.

Thank you so much for hearing our story, and even if donating isn't a possibility, please keep Andrew in your thoughts, prayers and reach out to him to show the love he deserves! Whether you have a deity, pray or smudge, please will all the strength and compassion towards the person that I know who needs it the most!

Also, please feel free to take a listen to Andrew's music! Here is a link to his soundcloud: soundcloud.com/giese211.com
