Mike Buchanan and Elizabeth Hobson – respectively the party leader and Communications Director of the British political partyJustice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them) – have been invited to speak at the sixth International Conference on Men’s Issues (ICMI) in Sydney, Australia, over 31 July – 2 August, 2020. The conference series is the only one of its kind in the world, focusing on issues primarily affecting men and boys. The conferences offer unrivalled opportunities for networking to Men’s Rights Activists, the majority of whom – including Mike Buchanan and Elizabeth Hobson – draw no personal income from their work. The conferences are the highest-profile evidence of the existence of the men’s rights movement.
The conferences have been highly effective at developing public understanding of men’s issues, and related issues including feminism and gynocentrism, thereby enabling the culture shift which is well underway. Videos of the presentations at the first four ICMIs are here – 2014 (Detroit) , 2016 (London) , 2017 (Gold Coast, Australia) , London (2018) . Videos of the presentations at the Chicago conference (2019) will be released shortly.
J4MB hosted the ICMIs in London in 2016 and 2018 , and is responsible for deciding where future ICMIs will be held in Europe and North America. Future ICMIs are planned in:
India – February 2021.
North America – July 2021.
United Kingdom – August 2022.
