Let's Rally to Help Jeff

In the world of Columbia area Community Theater, it is just that, a community!
We are all a family, and one of our own needs our help and support. Many of
you know and have worked with Jeff Sigley and you also know that he has been
very ill and unable to work. He is struggling financially and
physically…the struggle continues.
On June 5, Jeff went to the ER in pain and was promptly admitted with severe
pancreatitis. After 13 days in the hospital and numerous tests later, he was finally
released and scheduled for removal of his gall bladder. More tests and CT scans
were run and then just recently, he had endoscopic surgery to drain the large
pseudocysts that formed from the pancreatitis.
Throughout this time, he has struggled with terrible pain and nausea which prevent
him from eating and drinking. He has more tests and doctor visits scheduled to
evaluate and hopefully remove the drain. But now, a new symptom has raised its
ugly head, endoscopic issues with gagging, hiccupping, pain, nausea and reflux.
It seems never-ending.
Throughout this whole ordeal, he has been unable to work, his FMLA has run out
and he is now having to pay for COBRA at $900 a month; just more stress to add to
his already full plate of exhaustion, nausea, pain, illness and bills.
One of our family members is in dire need and could really use your help and support
right now. We are entering month 4, and there is still a long road ahead for our dear
friend. He would never ask for help, but we know he needs it, and we can help him
through this darkness by stepping up. When the need exists, “family” gladly and
willingly helps, that’s what we do - support.
Please help, anything you can give will go a long way to helping Jeff with the mountain
of expenses that he is facing. This funding will help so he can put more focus on
his heath and getting better.
Thank you,
Debra Leopard
