When you set up this profile, it asks for the recipient’s story.   How could anyone even begin to tell BAR’s story?  If you know him, then you already know how special he is. From Staten Island to Mali he has touched so many lives with his generous spirit and loving heart. 

My husband credits Bruce with being the reason he is even alive and successful today. I’m sure many of you feel that way too. Each one of you is a chapter in his story. How he inspired you, how he believed in you, and maybe even how he saved you.

For all the times and ways Bruce has been there for us, now he could use us being there for him.

Bob Rex, with Bruce’s blessing, has set up this GoFundMe account to help Bruce with medical costs and living expenses through his recovery. 

As some of you know, Bruce recently had surgery for cancer. While doctors are confident they removed all of it, there was a complication during the surgery which caused Sepsis. Bruce is currently in the ICU fighting this infection.  He remains positive and upbeat and looks forward to getting the heck out of the hospital.

We want him to be able to focus all his energy on healing and not have any financial concerns.
