Let's Move Megan Home

Many of you know Megan (aka Deats), which means you know she's one of the absolute best people around. Kind, happy, generous and loving, she's a friend to literally everyone she meets.
A short nine months ago, Megan married her amazing wife Mackenzie who blessed her with the opportunity to be a parent to three awesome kids: Bella, Ezra and Zoe. Anyone who knows Megan knows she was meant to be a mom.
This wonderful family needs our help now. As many of you know she's been fighting off some very scary and very serious MS-related complications since the beginning of June. She's been unable to work since then and has been hospitalized for almost 100% of that time, enduring many weeks of not even being able to move from her hospital bed in the ICU.

After a long time not knowing what would happen, SHE' S COMING HOME. She's set to be discharged from the rehabilitation hospital on 9/20 where she'll be kicking butt between now and then to keep getting stronger and stronger.

As awesome as that is, it's also complicated and challenging. The reality is this: she won't be coming home to the home she knew when this all started. Megan and her family will be moving to a new house on 10/4, a house that will better facilitate her continued recovery and safety, which considering she is still missing a portion of her skull, is ultra important.

We all know moving is stressful AND expensive under the simplest of circumstances, let alone after all this. It is well known that stress exacerbates the symptoms of MS and we want Megan to keep moving forward, so here's where the village comes in.
If we can knock out a chunk of the financial burden the family is facing, we can help them not only focus on getting Megan stronger, but also strengthening their bond as a family. Here's what I know they need right now:
$500 for fence at the new house to wrangle the fur kids and keep them happy.
$500-1000 for prep work to the home they are selling--painting, cleanup, small plumbing fixes.
$1700 repairs and changes to the new house that will accommodate Megan's new needs.
Bonus Ideas:
$80/hr for a unpacking/organizing service that specializes in helping people with this type of situation.
$3000 for their first few mortgage payments since Megan and Mackenzie's time will be spent getting Megan stronger and keeping the kids on a normal schedule.
These people mean so much to me and so many others around Kalamazoo, the rest of Michigan and beyond. I know we can come together for them and help ease some of this monumental stress. I appreciate anything you can give, and I know they will too.
Let's show them they do have a village behind them full of love and support.
Thank you!
