Yesenia is my friend and co-worker, and she is an amazing human being. When she's not at home with her family and three children, she's hard at work with me and the whole PETS team, helping all of the people and animals who need our emergency medical care. Unfortunately now Yesenia needs a lot of emergency medical care of her own. While walking home from a super tough week at work she was hit by a drunk driver, nearly right outside of her home.  She sustained major injuries from being hit and is facing multiple surgeries and a very long, hard road to recovery.  She's going to be unable to return to work for a very long time and could really use some financial assistance while she recovers. She does so much for her family, so much for the animals and their people, and she's been a great friend to me. She really deserves some help. I love her dearly.
