No one should face Cancer alone, Let's help Shawna

August 27, 2019 was the day Stage III Cervical Cancer became a reality for Shawna Leard.
Severe anemia in the months prior, lead Shawna to be admitted to the ER numerous times as well as some lengthy hospital stays. Eventually the doctors discovered that Shawna had something far more serious than just anemia ....Shawna had CANCER.
Shawna's amazing strength & positive outlook have helped her endure 35 radiation treatments as well as 5 chemo treatments.
This has been the hardest time of her life!!
It has been impossible for her to work so she took a sick leave and eventually need to stay with her parents as she healed from all the treatments.
It's been 5 weeks since she finished her treatments and she is starting to feel more like herself. Her strength is coming back & she hopes to be healthy enough to be back home in time for the holidays. If she gets her way she'll be back to work in January.
She’s eternally grateful for all the love and support she’s received during her cancer journey. If you’d like to add to that Show of Love and Support - it would mean the world to her and her family! The money raised will be used for bills and basic expenses incurred during the last 3 1/2 months
In her own words-
"Please convey how thankful I am for all the support I've received and I'm working hard to make everyone proud and can't wait to give back"
