I would like to introduce you to a very hard working man and my coworker Shane VanTassel, he works two jobs but unfortunately he fell behind with his hydro bill and he has been living without power for 4 months due to NB Power not honouring the payment arrangements that had been made and disconnected Shane's power even while he was making his payments.
This gentleman has had a terribly sad an emotional year nd needs a fresh start. We need to get him his power restored as the weather is getting very cold and the generator he's been running for 4 months to keep his fridge working will not support a heater and his pipes will freeze!
Shane shows up to work every day with a smile on his face and you would never know the turmoil that he's living with and the thought of going home to a cold, dark house at the end of the day must be very depressing.
We've all encountered difficulty at some time in our lives and I'd love for the community to come together and show Shane that we're behind him, I don't think you'd find anybody more appreciative and thankful for the help!!
