LET'S HELP RANCHO LA PONDEROSA

The horses at La Ponderosa Tours need our help!  Lucho has operated La Ponderosa Tours as a family business for more than 20 years, sharing Aruba’s beautiful countryside with visitors to our island who return each year to see their favorite horses. As many businesses in the tourism sector are feeling the brunt of the tragic Covid-19 virus and resulting border closures, there are creatures among us that need an extra helping hand from the community. 

Unlike most that can shutter their business for a few weeks to keep costs down, Lucho has 22 beautiful horses that require daily care and feed, and without tours generating income to maintain the daily needs of the horses, the ranch is in a dire emergency for funds. 

Each horse requires an average of 7 bags of grain monthly at a cost of about $20 per bag.  Please open your hearts and your wallets to help purchase bags of grain. 

No amount donated is too small! It’s times like these that our humanity shines and our compassion for our neighbors is what will heal us down the road.
