For the past couple years, Phil Gawthrop has been experiencing health issues and complications due to heart disease.  He has undergone three procedures, two of which were minor surgeries to clear arterial blockages.  

Later this month, Phil will be undergoing open heart surgery entailing a triple bypass and valve replacement. The recovery time for major surgery is always unknown, so we are expecting it will be some time before he is able to return to work.

Since Phil will have no income during this time, he will need funds for his costs of living.  We are humbly accepting the help of his community of friends to support him while he recovers.  Any amount that you can help to ease the stress of finances while he surrenders to the recovery process will be greatly appreciated.
