My name is Jessica and I have set up this GoFundMe for my sister Lauren and her wife Jess. Lauren and Jess have been together for what seems like forever, 13 years to be exact and for 2 of those years they've been married. They met while working at Lake Compounce and have grown their relationship from friends to girlfriends to wives and fur mamas. Jess is a special education teacher going for her third masters while Lauren is a pharmacy tech at CVS and certified Medical Assistant.
These two women would drop everything to lend someone a hand, I can't think of another couple more deserving of a child. They have spent much of the past year going through the process of figuring out if and how they can have a baby. Things have come to a screeching halt because the insurance company will not cover any costs. They claim that the women are not infertile and have chosen not to sleep with men so they will not cover this costs. Are you infuriated yet? because I am!! We are in 2020, a time when love is love and the LBGTQ community has overcome so much but because they choose not to sleep with a man, they're costs to help them carry a child will not be covered.
Let us all come together and help this couple that would do anything for anyone and get them enough funds to continue the process.
